Offering in person guitar lessons for all ages!
Guitar lessons for beginner – advanced players. I am happy to work with new players, or players hoping to sharpen their skills.
I have a scheduled outline for a lesson below to give you an idea, but I am also able to adjust that outline to fit your individual requests!

The lesson
Time: 1hr. lesson
Cost: $40 per lesson (includes pre lesson music prep)
Frequency: Every 1-2 weeks is best depending on skill level.
Location: I offer in-person lessons, please contact me to talk about where to meet.
The lesson will be broken up into four 15m parts (roughly) This is to ensure the ability to be a well rounded musician, understand how to play the instrument, technique, theory, and passion.
#1 Music theory – we will go over a piano theory book, to learn the basics of how to read music, understand chords, tab, composition, and the theory of music.
#2 Technique – how you play an instrument is extremely important to your success as a musician. This part of the lesson will cover (depending on skill level) picking techniques, how to properly hold and manage a guitar, scales, exercises etc.
#3 Study Music – Here we will work on putting together technique, theory and guitar – choosing piece of music with the intention of it being used as a tool to better learn and understand whatever it is we’re working on!
#4 Passion Music – Music is an art, and in order to learn it properly, you need to enjoy it and have fun with it! The further along your skill level is, the wider range of music you’re able to play! Here we will choose a piece of music that you want to play – and work together to learn it.

Anything worth doing, takes some work! But it’s not work, if it’s fun.
Learning an instrument can be difficult, at times just down-right frustrating! If you’re just starting out, the silly little exercises may make you feel like quitting – because this isn’t what you wanted to do – you wanted to play guitar! How long will this take?!?!
I began guitar lessons 7-8 years ago. I had a passion for guitar – I had always wanted to play it. I started out with piano, and learned some great things! But! It was never my joy – guitar was. At the very beginning of learning an instrument, it can feel like you’re not doing a lot of “fun cool stuff” but those things actually come very quickly! You are never too old to learn, or re-learn. You just have to have a passion and a desire to learn what you’re learning. Music is an incredible gift, and well worth the work!
